Recently, the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security announced the composition of 30 national steering committees for professional degree postgraduate education including asset valuation (hereinafter referred to as the Teaching Steering Committee) after the renewal, and our dean Prof. Zhang Liguo was selected as a member of the steering committee for professional degree postgraduate education in asset appraisal.

The Steering Committee of Professional Degree Education is a professional organization of professional degree education, which has an important status and role in coordinating professional degree education activities, formulating training programs and syllabus for professional degree graduate students, conducting teacher training, teaching evaluation, scientific research, international exchange, and cooperation, etc. The postgraduate training units will take advantage of this east wind to plan ahead for the declaration of professional degree doctoral points, pay close attention to the cultivation process and thesis quality of professional degree postgraduates, and create a new situation of professional degree postgraduate education.

Up to now, five professors of the university, namely Lu Fucai, Wu Hong, Luo Liangqing, Zhang Rui, and Zhang Liguo, have been selected as members of the teaching steering committee of professional degrees in business administration, taxation, applied statistics, accounting and asset valuation.
